May Breakdown

As you can see starting with may 24th was my first week of training again. I am now on my way to building for cross country season. The other weeks before were just recovery from the half marathon and maintaining my fitness.

Why hello!! Are there any readers out there?

Still feeling real weak and my legs are still very fatigued but we are pushing through. Definitely can’t wait to feel in shape again!! It’s always hard coming back from time off.

State Track Predictions

Big River Running is doing a Prediction contest for the 2010 High School State Track and Field. I’m pretty excited because it’ll be fun to find out the results and see if I guessed right. I love games! Plus the winner gets a free pair of Nike Lunar Glide 2 shoes 🙂

So I left my Coming of Age in Mississippi book on the plane. I am not the smartest tool in the shed. 😦 I only had 50 pages left to read too.

Biking

Went biking with a friend. I am awful on actual roads/sidewalks. Basically I don’t like riding where cars are present. I have a big fear of getting hit by a car :(  Needless to say, we only did about 5.4 miles before I was done.

– The fact I’m pretty decent at running to make up for my awful biking skills
– Fresh Fruit
– Seeing friends again!
