Go St Louis Half Marathon!
So I decided not to race this but just run comfortably. I set a goal of 1 hour 45 minutes. I actually set it thinking I was going to race and thought it was a pretty high goal and that it would be hard for me to do.
….let’s just say I hit the goal and I didn’t even race it!!!!
Here are my splits:
Average pace: 8:00/mi
This course was EXTREMELY hilly. I train on hills everyday but not one’s that last a mile long. The last two miles my body just died on me. It was tired haha and didn’t want to do work anymore.
I wonder what I would’ve ran if I actually raced.
I will have to post official pictures once they are up, but for now these are the pictures Alex took of me.
I must say, my leg muscles looked pretty good in those first few pictures 🙂 I can’t wait to see what the official pictures look like. Hopefully they took some of me actually running.
