Running

It was so extremely hot today. 78 degrees during my run. I had a 5 miler but could only do 4.5. I was not properly hydrated and was getting heat cramps and something I ate was hurting me in more ways than one!!!

4.5 miles in 35:59 @ 7:59 pace

mileage time
mile 1 7:30
mile 2 8:00
mile 3 8:22
mile 4 8:19
mile 4.5 3:45

Dinner

IMAG0157

Spinach with cottage cheese, fettuccini with no taste, dry macaroni, roast beef.

Special K bars are totally addicting! The vanilla, in my opinion, tastes better than a Rice Krispy Treat!! Mmmmm 🙂 looks like a good day overall girll!

Twin! I’m glad you don’t have a great time running in the heat too! I personally am not a fan of the heat. When everyone is all like “ohhhh I love summer!” I’m kind of just like… “65 degrees is hot to me when it comes to running!”

That pizza looks gooooood. I love artichokes 🙂

I love artichokes too! I love summer but yeah the heat kills me when running, but only if I’m dehydrated. If I have good hydration then it’s fine and I can get my tan on!!

I’m drooling over that pizza. It’s my one true weakness. Other than ice cream of course. 🙂 Great job on the too hot run.

I know how miserable a hot run can be, but I have to say I’m a little jealous. It’s been so cold and windy here!!

Its funny, because I used to ONLY run when it was nice out, but now I’d rather run in cooler weather. Its just more comfortable.

I swear every time they make it, it tastes awful…or there is no taste!! The only time it was good was when it was actually made to order and you could have seasoning put in

That pizza looks fabulous! You are rocking the running! You have some serious strength and will power! Do you ever bring water with you, and if so do you just hold it or what. I was running today and was getting so annoyed by my water bottle.

    Have a fabulous Easter!

Thanks girl! I never bring water with me so I’m not sure how running with a bottle is. I don’t think I would like that, it might ruin my running form. The camelbacks look pretty cool. I’m sure I’d use one of those if I ever ran long distances! But the farthest I’ve gone so far is 9 and I didn’t have any water during the run!
